questions about 2008 TSX for Sale

ok so i found a CPO 2008 TSX w/ tech 6 speed manual w/blk interior with only 12,474 miles. They are asking $22,495. they said they cant budge on the price much... you think this is a good deal? the car looks to have been garaged and the leather looks very well maintained. minor chips on front bumper, no sun burn on headlights... i didnt get to test drive it cause there is a deposit on it but they said they will call me today after 6PM if the buyer credit is declined...

what should i offer? cause i think after all the taxes n fees its gonna be around $25k

If the car is not officially sold then try that. Go low and then go up from there.

Exactly right.

Also, keep in mind that if there is a deposit on the car, the dealer has little incentive to bargain with you.

If the sale does not go through, then go back. But if you try to bargain while another deal is in play, your position is not nearly as good.

^ thanks... yea im still waiting for the guy to call me back. i called this morning but he was with another customer so i left my name n number for the 2nd time. But when we were talking before he said that since its certified its going to be hard to budge off the internet price... i really dont want to pay $24-$25 OTD... fees n taxes really tend to mess things up lol

$22,5 is top dollar, though a very low mile, black, MT w/ nav is a very attractive car for the right buyer. And aside from everything else, if that dealer has a buyer that is willing to pay that much, I'm pretty sure they'll do everything they can to find finacing for the guy. Recent transaction prices for even low mileage 08's are well below $20K (more like in the $18's I think now, after all..... they're approaching 4 years old). The car should still have warranty left, and you could always add an extended warranty (about all the CPO is worth anyway) for I think considerably less than the CPO premium probably is if that's the attraction. But..... if the car becomes available, and you really like it, then don't let the price be your final deciding factor (especially if you want an MT, there aren't that many around).
