Question PWP Color Match Calipers?

My new spoiler is done being painted and the guy is giving me the left over paint. My 17yo suggested that I paint the brake calipers to match. On my other cars, I do a early spring/summer routine of painting the wheelwells satin black, the brake hubs aluminum silver and the brake calipers. I had a dark blue Impreza and used leftover paint to do the calipers and it looked very sweet but I'm not sure about white calipers. Keep in mind that I do the above yearly so, for the most part, those areas always look fresh.
Anyway, yah or nay on the PWP calipers...thanks!

Should look very interesting. I say give it a go. If you're not satisfied with it, you can always just sandblast it off and repaint

Will the white paint hold up to the heat of the calipers? Isnt' caliper paint a special high heat paint?

I like the idea of matching the body color, even on a white car. As suggested, my concerns would be heat and road grime. Duplicolor and G2 both make great caliper paint kits if you'd like to consider that route. I painted the calipers on my SUV almost two years ago, and they're still looking great.

The white paint will not stay white long enough for you to enjoy it. I would say that you should paint it a different color.

I've used BBQ or Tremclad Hi-Heat paint for years and it looks great! To do it right, remove the calipers, wire brush them, clean with metal prep, prime then paint (2 coats). I'm doing my new '02 TL-S calipers in gloss black this weekend.

Good luck!

Ya I'm thinking they would get dirty way to fast to appreciate the effect.
