Purchasing '04 vs. '05

Live in the Toronto area seeking a '04 with less than 25,000km, either AT or MT (prefer MT). I have fallen in love with this vehicle and cannot wait to buy one.

Would I be better off waiting until the fall for a used '05 or better off purchasing a new '05 when the '06 arrives? Any help from the TSX experts would be
appreciated.

Other than ps and lights on the steering wheel have there been any mechanical or quality improvements to the TSX from '04 to '05?

Thanks

As far as as far as "better off" i'm assuming you mean the price difference between a used 05 and an leftover 05, you can probably get a used one for cheaper depending on how much milage as been put on it.

You can usually come out ahead with a good, relatively low km 1-2 year old used car. There's usually more room for negotiation on the price and you don't get hit with the $1300 freight/PDI or the air and gas tax. Just get get a dealer certified or private sale, don't go to any place that sells just used cars, there's usually something wrong with every vehicle they have..

I've owned 4 cars so far and the 3 used ones were by far the cheapest to own.
