power with 5AT vs. 6MT
power with 5AT vs. 6MT
I have the TL but having a tranny replacement so i get the TSX auto w/navi to toy around
the power is not bad but missing a lot of torque that i used to have with my TL
it need to rev to get the car moving, impressed with the cornering ability, with stock setup it is very effortless in turns, body roll is not there and very stable at hwy speed
is there a big difference in power for the auto vs. manual for TSX?
man they need a V6

If feels like there is something missing if we don't see one at least once a week.
samkws, there are a TON of threads on this. "search" is your friend. In short, yes, there is a difference, the 6MT is about a 1/2 second faster in the quarter. Plus, its one of the smoothest manual trannies out there.

TSX is not slow once get up to speed, i did 200km/h easily tonite on hwy (around 125mph) and it's just an auto
the motor is lack of torque but good high end, my TL did around 220km/h (140mph) at the same spot, but it's not fair to compare with my TL

The TSX doesn't need a V6. YOU need a V6 :whocares:
TSX with a V6 gives us massive torque steer...
except worse...
