Possible to add in-dash Navi?

Hey hey, just a quick question for you guys.
I have a CG/Quartz Auto without navi and now im really regreting the no navi. Now my question is, is it possible to get the indash factory navi installed? and if yes, how much would it be? And if its not possible, (which unfortunatly is what I think) what should I get instead, about how much should/would I spend, and where on the car do you guys think would be a good place for it? I was thinking about putting one of those dvd screens athat pop out and flip up in the extra compartment above change try, that way I could still get the nice clean dash of no navi if I want, and just open that compartment for dvd's. Any input and advice would be great.

I don't think you can install a Navi into a non-navi model. I'm sure it's possible but no dealer would want to order every part and install it. New buttons for the steering wheel I believe and install the voice rec. mic, and among other things like air conditioning.

If you really want navi, you can get one of those after market ones that you can get at Bestbuy or something.

Thumbs up

Garmin iQue 3600. There has been a few threads on this subject. It is a combination GPS/PDA/MP3 player all at a quite reasonnable price, with color screen and voice command (output, not input). Still waiting for someone to show us where they installed it in a non-navi TSX.

I was looking to add DVD and TV tuner to it as well, not like a the Garmin iQue 3600 which looks like a palm pilot.

Here's a previous thread on handheld GPS. It didn't have many posts but maybe it'll be helpful:

If you have the service manual, you'll notice that the OEM Navi requires some specific wiring harnesses that are not included in the non-Navi version.
