Plutonium Kit?

Hello All,

I'm pricing a new TSX and I was told that there is an option called the "Plutonium Kit" which replaces the metal looking trim on the interior with actual titanium.

Does anyone know the difference between the two trims? Does anyone have any photographs of the two? I can't find any on the Acura web site. I'm not sure whether to spend the extra cash on it or not if it doesn't look all that different.

Thanks.

Yeah, I called a different dealer and he called it the Titanium Kit. I must have misunderstood or she must have mispronounced it at the other dealership.

According to the salesman he said that not many people order it.

Although replacing the trim with plutonium would be pretty sick. (and would probably make you sick too)

It does not replace any panels. All it does is add additional pieces over the center console, cup holders, and door handles. It uses the same material as the other fake aluminum parts around the interior. If it had plutonium inside there, you would need a flux capacitor to help you out once you hit 88 mph.

I thought plutonium is the ingredient used for nuclear reactor and nuclear bomb. Adding the plutonium kit to your TSX is... funny

Also I think it's illegal for your dealer to offer that option. But I won't call FBI cuz I would be interested in a group buy.
