Pls help. Need a pic ASAP of the trunk carpet for tomorrow

Pls see my other thread.

http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...&threadid=2508

I'm going to bring in my car for the rattle problem tomorrow and found out that Im missing the thin fabric between your trunk tray and the particle board cover for the spare tire

I called Acura service today and they said they'll look into it, but said that all their TSXs have no trunk carpet.

Pls post some pics of the trunk so I can show them. Thanks!

Why don't you just ask them to look at a TSX on the lot?

It's not really carpet, though. It's more like just fabric stuff. Very thin. Definitely take a look at the other cars, though.

No carpet here either. That is no "extra" thin piece that sits between the carpeted particle board and the trunk tray.

The particle board that covers the spare tire is carpeted. There is no other thin piece of carpeting other than that.

I think STC is saying he has the rubber trunk liner, and then wood....no carpet. The carpet should be approximately the same stuff as the lining of the rest of the trunk. And, if the TSX is like my EL, then the carpet is seperate from the wood...I lift up the thin layer of carpet, and there's a piece of wood underneath that, which I then lift, and there's the spare.

it really makes me wonder why your TSX and the dealer's TSX's don't have the trunk "carpet".... did your dealer go and sell the trunk "carpets" on ebay???

Yep.. that surprised me when I first saw one at my dealer. It seemed a bit flimsy, but I guess it still does the job. We wouldn't want too much added weight back there, anyway.
