Yes, here I am......that's some funny $hit!

FDL,

The flight sim is right on target! The 9-3's interior is like Jet fighter, maybe because Saab makes some of the most advanced jets in the world?

Reminds me of this....

Most advanced jets? Are they either American or Russian?

No they may not be Russian or American - but they still develop some pretty advanced technology.

Saab produced the first fully digital combat craft.

Yeah, pretty advanced stuff.

Actually, the best thread ever was on the old site: "My TSX.....Attacked by a peacock."

We're trying to stay off the old site, but for this I think we can make a little exception:

http://www.clubtsx.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=3336

Yeah, so the people across the street from us have peacocks that are considered "wild animals".... they occasionally come across into our yard, but they just squawk. Today, it decided to approach my shiny, just cleaned carbon grey TSX... it saw its reflection and began attacking my car... pecked the crap out of it... I hear banging, run outside, and the thing is in the midst of denting my car... I spray the thing with a hose and throw a tennis ball at it. It runs away, but comes back 3 more times. The third time, I chased it into the street, secretly hoping the thing would get run over... it almost does, and flies away... Haven't seen it since... my car has 4 peacock-beak sized dents on the driver's-side door.... wow... what a way to get your first dent... I had to share, and I find it morbidly funny.

that was classic.
A lost masterpiece.
Similar to the Nazi purge of Europe's great works.

You mean the link doesn't work if you were banned??

But anyway, believe it or not, I covered just such an eventuality, not to mention many countless others, by pasting a lot of that thread onto our site a while back:

http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...5001#post25001

Pretty neat, eh?

My award winning satire of the situation lives on, to be enjoyed and admired by our children and their children until the day comes when..."WHACK!!!!"

Damn those big curtains hurt!

Long live the cocks!!! Nature's true pecker!!

Thanks for preserving that larch. You fill the Minister of History and Culture Preservation position with flying colours my man.

Most recent reviews aren't parroting above exterior comments on TSX exterior. I'd submit most are saying "good looking," "elegant," etc, now. I've received nothing but extremely positive comments on the TSX's looks from my coworkers and friends. They love it! And the looks are what attracted me to the car to begin with. Camry isn't so bland IMO and if sales are any indication, it's a hit with consumers, unlike the new Accord...
By the way, check out Automobile's October long term review of 9-3. It was described as bland (really but I don't agree with that, I think the 9-3 looks fine). You might want to stop rationalizing your decision to buy a 9-3 on this forum, Kewl.

tsx-mdx man.....i think both the camry and the accord are hits.
if u look at the sales number, the only reason y the camry is edging out the accord is bc 10% are fleet sales. so technically, the accord is the best-seller.
as for typing this, i'm just bored

You could be right, Speedzer. I did note, however, Accord sales for September this year slipped to below September 02 sales. Not sure if same is true for Camry. And I don't mean to pick on Kewl, he loves his 9-3 for good reason, it's a nice car. I just think TSX is as good or better looking, performs in similar or better fashion and does it all cheaper and probably more reliably overall (which makes it the clear winner in my book).

You're funny. Absolutely no need to justify anything, I am extremely happy with my puchase. Oh, by the way, many more reviews call the TSX syling bland than the 9-3. You guys may not like the 9-3's interior, but that really doen't matter, does it now? The interior may be love it/hate it but one thing it is, is extremely well designed. Everything is within reach and 'high' in the cockpit making it easier to concentrate on the road. This is a trend that should be used by more manufacturers. I have now come to appreciate it after my experiences with several Japanese cars.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant when I said, a while back, that Kewl should feel lucky that anybody here says anything good at all about the 9-3.

As you might guess, that was widely misinterpreted.

(Especially by Kewl.)

So imagine his surprise when I said the Saab was what I'd get if there were no TSX.

you guys make some unnecessarily negative comments on the 9-3's.

are all acura owners this cocky and arrogant? my bro, a 3.2 TL-S driver, is pretty cocky about his car. but i can give him that, because it's pretty fast, looks classy in and out, and he put full oem kit on, and upgraded sound system, etc, etc... BUT, he doesn't think it's the greatest car in the world and he admits he likes certain parts of the competitors even if he doesn't like the car overall (same as me). honestly, 9-3's have cool nifty features like night panel, re axes, cool glovebox, scc, profiler, etc. there's no reason to talk sh*t about the 9-3 just because you drive a tsx.

now, if you wanna talk sh*t about a car, then talk about IS300. i'm ok with that.

and i know, tsx is still sweet.

is300 is a hell of a lot better than the 9-3 that's for sure. all i have to say that in my OPINION, i think the 9-3 isn't very nice... i don't like the plastic molding all over the car. The interior looks spartan. Not a very exciting car... meanwhile.. the TSX/IS looks cleeeeeean!

Simmer down freeride.

I'm just giving the guy a little shit, which is what he deserves for coming on a TSX site and constantly shoving the 9-3 up our ass. No worries dude.

That's a rediculous comment, especially since most of the 9-3 threads created here are by TSX owners.

Might be a little 9-3 envy since you guys like creating so many threads about the car.

If you guys wanna talk smack about another car, that's fine. But, just don't get all upset if someone doesn't agree that the TSX is the lords gift to automobiles (which it certainly is not).
