Painting grill

I want to paint the sides of the chrom grill (without the --A-- just like the the picture below but on 2006+).

can I remove the sides of the grill. Paint it, then but it back without removing the bumper??

Any painting tips or tricks since its chrom

The grill comes off without having to remove the bumper. Just sand and paint patiently. Nothing special with that kind of chrome trim.

Many many light, THIN layers of paint, and a good clear. it's the front of you car and very likely to be dinged by debri

hope this diy helps ya.
You really just need pull off your radiator cover and then pull on the grill that the clips loosen at the bottom of the grill - bumper.
Just make sure when you reinstall the grill to get those clips right.



Note to self it took for ever to find it azine search is still messedup...

Did you ever paint it? I did this to my Gen7Accord and it's exactly the way IcrazyasnL said..
