paint calipers?
I have seen the calipers painted red on a CG TSX actually, they look very nice. I would go with red or Black, either would look nice. I think it was on cardomian.com. Look there and I think you'll see a CG TSX with painted calipers...

Make sure you get some high temp paint 1200 degrees preferred...

Ok... all done. It was pretty easy, takes a some time if you are like me and don't have a lift. I had to jack up each side clean the caliper, apply the paint, wait for the paint to dry, apply the decal, and move to the next wheel so it took me about the whole day.
Here are some tips/pointers
1. Make sure you do a rear wheel first, it's a smaller caliper and so it won't be as obvious if you mess up. It also has less detail and is therefore easier to do.
2. Make sure you do a really good job cleaning the caliper otherwise you will have to put on more coats.
3. Put on a really detailed coat first and then a really think coat after that.
4. Important one- I used Dupli-Color which was great paint, however, the brush wasn't the best. I wish I had bought another brush before I started so do that before you start.
5. I got the decals from a guy on ebay, www.jdecals.com, great guy cause he gives you three for the front and three for the back. Good thing cause its easy to put them on a little crooked and screw it up.
Here are some pics.

black looks good on CG, especially with the white lettering. glad my TL came in black... my lazy ass would've never gotten around to painting it.
i think red looks the best with SSM, savio... my brother has Rotora BBK in red and it looks bad ass on his SSM.

Also, watching the way that caliper cleaner dissolved ANYthing on the caliper I'm guessing its a little more powerful and def less time consuming then the method described in post #13

Has anybody tried The G-2 Manufacturing Brake Caliper PaintSystem Set.
Just wondering how durable the paint was from this set.
