OEM Bodykit question

Does the OEM Bodykit replace the bumper piece? The reason I'm asking is that I recently had a run in with one of those damn yellow poles they put in the middle of parking lots. I was given an estimate of $400 to fix it, but if the OEM body kit replaces the bumper piece then I'll just get that and call it good. It's a solid reason for an upgrade

No it doesn't. It's an add-on piece to the original bumper.

is the bumper piece broken/cracked or just some paint came off? reason is the front spoiler covers part of the bumper, dont know if it'll hide the dmg

Well, it's actually only scratched really bad, not cracked. It's right around the driver's side/middle twords the bottom of the bumper right where the bump in the bumper is on the bottom. Did that make any sense?

The OEM kit might actually hide that part of the bumper or parts of it anyways. Take a look at some pics of some TSX's with the OEM kit and see if the area where the scratch is covered.

Another submariner, nice! Well... actually, I'm not quite one yet. Drudging through power school, at the moment.
