navi = $2000 compass.

If you really miss the compass, you can swap your rearview mirror for one from an accord:

Are you REALLY that bummed out about not having a compass?? What're you Davey Crockett? I'm pretty sure you aren't going to partake on any frontier voyages with your TSX. You can velcro a compass to your dashboard if that makes your excursions any more enjoyable...or get a navi...or....duh-duh-duhhh....a MAP.

Does the Accord mirror have the auto dim feature?

I'm more curious about where he read in the TSX specs that there even was SUPPOSED to be a compass.

Oh wait, people don't read things like specs anymore. Never mind.

This is the second forum he has been crying in about something with the TSX. And no, I don't remember where the first one was but I remember seeing it in my RSS feeds.

Yea, I hate how people nowadays have all of the information in the world at their disposal via a new invention called...BOOKS, MAGAZINES..and oh yea...the INTERNET. You have the ability to read all of the information you need until your eyes bleed BEFORE even going to a test drive....let along buying the car. Point is, know what you are getting into before you get yourself into it...oh and if a compass was that big of a deal you should have gotten a Quad or a snowmobile.

you know....now that you have a car....and no compass, you can always use Polaris to guide your save voyage. Also, lichens usually grow on the north side of trees, so you can use that as a guide...without a compass and all...

The Accord Rearview mirror is an option. That mirror isn't standard. So you'll have to buy it either ways.

Use the Sun to get your coord. Don't drive at night

wow...i nvr thought that so many people would actually reply to this thread..about a compass......

to those people who said i didn't read specs... well...i read specs on acura.com and couldn't find a word "compass"...however, it was those secondary reviews from yahoo and etc that stated "compass" is in the instrumentation display...so i was confused...( i knoe it was my fault doubtin' acura.com) anewez...thnx for all those replies... now i hav another question...

WHICH PORTABLE NAVIGATION U GUYZ RECOMMEND?

i m thinkin of tomtom one, garmin 340, navman icn750...or jus a korean brand nav...that playz movies/mp3/blutooth(useless in tsx)/texts/etc.

There's enough going on in a test drive to not worry about a compass. I think it's not a crazy idea to get the car and later think that a compass might be handy.

So I can kind of understand someone, one day, looking up at the mirror and thinking how cool that would be to have one, especially since apparently many ACCORDS HAVE THEM ALREADY!

I looked up the cost to replace the mirror, and they were all expensive. SO never mind. I don't want one that badly, but it seemed like a good idea.

Even when I was a kid, I thought those stick-on dome compasses looked pretty tacky. Maybe if there was a cool florescent/LED digital display model... Or maybe not.

Instead of using the internet to ask people on a forum these questions.....why don't you just use the internet to do some product research?? Wouldn't you rather do your own research and get what seems best for your needs rather than take someones word and possibly regret it? Doing your homework doesn't stop when you leave school.

Sorry if u misunderstood my question. out of many car navigations out in the market......i only listed 3 specific models..and one korean brand....i thought this would show people that i did research and came down to these 4 selections and i can't decide which one to get. i jus wanted to hear from those who actually have them and used it.

p.s. it seems i m not gettin' a korean brand one b/c it costs too much. TT TT

A "Garmin 340 or Tomtom" seach on Google provided many results. Here are some. Hope it helps.
