It's much safer. That said, still LOVE my new TSX.
According to Wikipedia - which is always right - the DRL studies in Scandinavian countries were not applicable to North American road and vehicle conditions.

I'm not sure if they are referring to DRL is an involuntary feature of the car or a choice made by the driver, but obviously driver's who turn their headlights on during the day are more cautious drivers in general. The idea that having your headlights on renders 20% of would be accident scenarios safe and happy is a tough sell.

what i hate the most is:

1) no low windshield washer fluid warning chime or symbol on the MID
2) no auto lock

I can definitely agree on that one. Especially since Canada gets it in the TSX

Oh wow! I never knew that. Even my 1989 Dodge Spirit has a Low Windshield Washer Fluid message in the "Message Center". I guess thats why Acura placed a dip-stick on the cap.

I did not purchase the car from an Acura dealership. I guess I should have put that in the original post.

whats the point of locking the doors? (car jackings?)

If you search the forums, you may be able to find a way to wire the fog lights to start up on ignition. I think that would be the ideal solution for the DRLs.
