New TSX owner

Hey everyone,

I just bought a 2006 TSX with 60,000MI for 10K. So far I love the car. It is NHP in color and is in great condition, it came with the nav option. So far I have bought a lip spoiler and plan on getting some kind of coils in the near future. I also plan on adding a Ipod integration to the stock radio when I find out what is available, unless you guys have any recommendations.

i bought an ipod integration for my 04 on eBay,(item in link)
it wasn't as expensive back when i bought it, it was maybe 40$ total including shipping, though this new one looks updated compared to mine.
works as good as the other brand out there, and its much cheaper. No need for a fancy cover since its hidden behind the console anyway

Thanks for the link. What is the easiest way to get the nav unit out to hook it up in the back?

i don't have a nav, but im guessing its the same thing.
all you need to do is pop out the pocket under the factory stereo/dash and plug it right behind. i had a cassette player, so i had to unscrew the player out to access it.

Here's a link on
of the GTA car kit which has the exact same plug, the car's a non-nav again, so i cannot assure you that it will be the exact same. Just search it up on google and the forums before buying, can't never be too sure, so don't take my word for it. With the nav, it takes over the cd changer i believe.

I just put in one of these ipod adapters from GTA for my 06 tsx. If you want the satelite radio to work you have to also purchase the y harness. This adapter works as advertized. 15min to put in. Same process for Nav/Non-Nav. Remove cubby, plug into bottom of radio. Hope this helps.

I checked to see if there was something plugged in back there the other day and there seems to be something in where you hook up the GTA. What could it be?

Could it be the OEM Ipod connector, (added in '06)?
