so i was driving to the beach today and on the way home i started hearing this horrible loud sound like all my windows were open and the wind was pounding my car so i pulled over and i saw that my "skid plate" the big plastic pieces under my front bumper were hanging on the ground and my tire dug through one side of it. i dont know how it happend im guessing a screw came loose or maybe i didnt tighten it enough after i installed my intake but anyway, i just took them off and my auto body should have the new pieces by thursday

Sucks, dude. Could have been helped too by "humping parking blocks".

 

i had a similar problem in my old altima where the tire wheel well plastic lining would constantly come loose.. man f that car.

 

by chance do you have pictures and/or part numbers for the replacement pieces? A piece of mine had been dragging after I bottomed out after I put in my coilovers.
