New potential acura head with a needed opinion...
Hello all,
Quick question. Looking at going into the TSX family. I found one specific in the ad below I fell in love with it. The mileage for the price scares me....but what do you guys think? I can't see paying over 10.5k for this but idk...please let me know and thanks your time!

People who own a TSX really love their cars. I spent over $10000 in parts/labor modding my TSX, RDX & MDX and I will never get that money back if I sold them. I would only give one of them up if it cost them more to keep it compared to repairing it. Someone put a lot of money modding the 04 TSX just to give it up. Plus you are not sure how hard the TSX was driven. If you go for it, get it checked out bumper-to-bumper and/or get a return policy or extended repair warranty in writing.
I would look for a stock +04 TSX or a TSX with close to stock engine and only cosmetic mods (body kit, lip kit, upgraded fogs, rotors, etc...). Engine or transmission repair can sometimes be half the cost of the car at the dealership.

it's a car-drive it
love my 06 tsx and have no plans of getting rid of it-too many wonderful memories with that car. It now spends lots of time parked in the garage hooked up to a battery tender. I now drive a recently purchased 2014 kia soul (the box). Did lots of research before making the purchase. So far, it has been a excellent choice.

Outside look suggests extensive mods. Folks that do this also usually drive car very rough and hard. Run don't walk away from this deal. You'd do better on ebay.
Any used car purchase should include a vehicle inspection (and CarFax, et al) before purchase to disclose any significant faults/conditions that affect sales price; wrecked/repaired, trans problems, fault codes that have been cleared, etc.
Caveat Emptor!
good luck
