New Owner On Board

Woo Hoo...Finally got my TSX. Carbon Gray/6MT/Ebony. I can't wait till I'm done with the break in period. I want to see how this baby feels with VTEC kicking in.

Welcome and Congrats. By the way, check out the Hondata thread. V-Tech will kick in earlier if you get the reflash.

Congratulations!

I am also a new TSX owner, actually not yet. I put in my order Feb 8th and just got a call yesterday that I will have it before the end of the month.

This wait has been harder than when I was a kid trying to go to sleep on December 24th. Funny thing is that I have already bought an a-spec kit and a comptech sway bar for the car I don't even have yet. I think that reading this forum hasen't helped, but soon I will be able to feel like I can celebrate my new toy.

Congrats to you too NightShredder Too bad there's still the dreaded break-in period once you take delivery I am still going through it. Though I must admit it seems I was quite lucky not having to wait for my car to be built/shipped, etc. The dealer had exactly the car I wanted, took delivery half a week after ordered.

Curious to know if you plan to put your mod (especially the rear sway) on right when you get the car?

You are right about reading this forum not helping any... I haven't really thought much about modding until I've spent more time here! Now you can see what's on my mind in my sig. Though I think I'll leave it bone-stock for at least this Summer.

The break in is going to be hard, but I don't want to damage the engine so I will have to take it easy for a while.

Yes. I plan to have the a-spec suspension and the swaybar installed from day one. I just prefer to have a ride where I can better feel the road especially when I drive in the mountains here, which is about all the time.

Then you've definitely ordered the right car for great handling and feedback to the driver! A-spec + the swaybar will make it even better

Congrats! Did you get yours from Downey Acura? I was looking to buy a CG/6MT/NAVI from them but someone put a 1000$ deposit on it first.
