New Keys and Remotes?

Anyone know how hard it would be to program a set of new keys and remotes? Thanks in advance. (esp. Kurt Bradley)

not hard, if they have the equipment less than a hour, but if they don't then they'll send it back to honda/acura or other dealers that could take a week haha

I used to have a VW Jetta and at one point I had two broken remotes so I ordered one off of Ebay. I then found instructions on how to program the remote I purchased from Ebay to my car by use of the key and driver side keyhole. Took about 2 minutes. I would look online for instructions similar to this for a newer model Honda.

I bet the dealer will charge a fair amount to program a new key fob for you.

Hey Monk302, do you still have those instructions? VW remotes suck. My wife's car is down to 1 remote. If I can do it myself and pick up another, that'll be awesome.

My VW remote has a range of about 10-15 feet. My TSX remote - 60-100 ft

They definitely suck. We have to stand right next to the car to get it to work, and it's not a battery issue.

I will look for them when I get back home. I initially got them off of www.vwvortex.com. I am not sure if I still have the instructions since I sold the Jetta but I will look.
