New to this forum, Need Advice for my tsx.

Hey guys, I've been reading a lot of posts on this forum and I'm ready to post my first thread.

Here is what i got...
2006 TSX w/navigation with 23,000 miles
6 speed
All Stock

What i wanna know...
1) What would y'all recommend for a lip kit. I want something classy, not too racy.
2) What bold on's should i put on my car. Like intake, etc.
3) Do anyone recommend the hondata reflash?
4) Anything else that i sould do to the car to make it look nice.

Thanks guys......and yes im from TEXAS!

lip kis isn't ricey unless you get the luckystar body kit...
racy if you meant that the lip kit does give off an aggressive stance.

Boltons depends on money, every bolt on for an mt is worth it.
Even hondata is better for an MT

tints and rims + suspension is all you need to make it nicer
besides you already got a nice car to start.

First of all, welcome to AZ! Tint and rims go a long way for looks. Perhaps some interior LED's. Body kit is nice too. Lowering the car will make it more aggressive looking.

Other bolt ons are Cold Air Intake, custome exhaust, header and CAT.

Main thing is to have fun at modding.

moving to General discussion area. Has nothing to do with Parts and Performance.

EDIT: Well not exactly "nothing" but none-the-less, we don't want to water down the P & P thread with questions of a general nature.

i actually bought it with 9,800 miles on it back on october 2k6 for $25k. i clean my car every week wax it once every 3 months and i make sure my interior stays clean. BTW, it smells nice inside. I am ready to mod my car and thats why im asking what would be the best things to do to if first.

My '05 still has 15,000 miles on it.... =]

Also, if you want performance, get the intake first.

If you want looks first, go for the rims and bodykit.

If you want good handling go for the Comptech RSB first.

Do you know that you can't Hondata an '07? I know their site has the 04-05, and the 06, but I believe the engine and controls are identical for '06 and '07...

Don't think that kit will fit on your car. It looks like and 04-05 kit from the front. Do they offer it in the 06-07 model?

I would do suspension first, then rims. No need to worry about gappage.

I like the JDM lip kit the most, then OEM. Everything else looks a little ricey to me.
