Does anybody know how to remove the "door" thats right above the "not an ashtray" door.

I want to fit my Sirius receiver inside that top cubby, but it will only fit (i think) with the front door off.

That cubby is easy to remove, since there are no screws holding it in. Kinda hard to grab, but just pull it straight out by grabbing the lower half first.

That door shouldn't be a problem UNLESS the Sirius protrudes out more than 1/2 inch
which is rather ugly imo

 

You may need to cut out the back of the bin to fit the Sirius, I've already done that, let me know if you want this.

I think just taking the front door off will let the receiver fit.
But your wright fuckleberry, the receiver might stick out a bit

BTW, it's a "sportster" receiver.

How did you cut out the back a little bit fuckleberry. I'd like to see pictures of how it look after the modification.

you can cut with a saw, or dremel etc.
Like I said, I have one just sitting around. I did the cut but never put in back in.
(I put in a dash kit instead)

I might be interested in the one you have. Does that picture you posted with the bin have the front already cut out?

What does your "dash kit" look like? Pics?

I basically want the cleanest look, without a buch of wires hanging from the windshield.
