Talking Need help - Keyfob ID and keyless receiver location

Would someone please confirm the FCC-ID of the TSX keyfob. I'd like to get '04s '05s in both Canadian and US models. The ID is written on the back of the keyfob.

Don't worry about showing your FCC-ID code as all TSX's are likely the same and it can not be used to get into your car. My TL keyfob FCC-ID is OUCG8D-378H-A

I need to know the following:
US or Canadian model
FCC-ID code
Model year of TSX

I also need to know where the receiver is located in the car. This is for a project I'm working on over in the TL forum. If I am sucessful I hope to tell all you fine TSXers about it as I am hoping it will apply to the TL and the TSX.

The Sunnyside Acura diagrams did not help in locating the receiver, although the part number for the keyfobs is slightly different from the TL. This is likely due to the Driver 1 and Driver 2 programming.

Thanks

US 04 = same as TL
Now for the Canadian model and other years, although it is unlikely they are any different.

I'm trying to find the receiver. I'm hoping that the brain would be a separate unit as it is in the TL.

Thanks for the help.

Then you could've posted in A/V: )

The MICU runs the keyless entry and is in the Fuse Box. The Dr Door MUX MCU is the switch. The Dr Door MUX module has the receiver and antenna inside it in the door, and the B-CAN data lines carry signals from the receiver to the rest of the system for K/E functions.

I don't *know* if the Dr Door MUX decodes signals and sends them to the MICU, but that would be my guess (rather than the BCAN streaming RF signals for decoding).

Elduderino,
A search on the Sunnyside Acura parts site came up empty on several searches for parts with descriptions matching yours. The keyless receiver on the TL is a box 2" x 3" and is easily removed. I searched the TL part number to see if it was the same as the TSX but the search gave no results.

It's the unit with the keyless entry antenna in it, that I am interested in. Anyone help out here ?
