I'm using it for my backup camera right now. It's working fine so far. I don't know how long it will last, that's all.

It's the same thing as Dom's unit -- and it's from Brooklyn also -- I'm guessing it IS Dom's unit. It is about 30 bucks cheaper, without the shipping...

cool. i was just unsure whether or not this is the one that i can watch movies on the navi. since i saw on the other thread about the avelectronics one which was like $500.

is the video converter listed on the ebay site come with everything? like do i need anything else or does it come with everything and i'll have picture and sound?

that unit will only switch between video signals. example, you will have the navi video and dvd video signals going through the unit, by sending a certain signal to the unit, it will decide which video signal to send to the front. If you want audio, you would have to run the wire from the back up to the front somehow. I don't know if u can somehow use the pre-existing wires from the navi unit for the audio signal or not.

If you have a 2007, I'd go with the Aux port for sound. That way you can get the full experience of each DVD through your sound system.

i got the 05 TSX, i checked the site and read it carefully, its says i need either a FM Modulator or a AUX sound input adaptor. I think the FM modulator is just like those FM transmitters for MP3 players but im not sure.
