Navigation Screen Size

I realize the Navi screen for both the TSX and TL are 8 inches, diagonally. Does anyone know whether the width x height dimensions are also identical?

The reason:

Interesting that the MDX and TL have different protectors on that site. That is kinda odd that they would be different, you'd think Honda would use the same product throughout their lines since they are all 8".

Were there any changes in dimensions between the 03 and 04 version of the navigation screen for Acura?

Oh, and you can send in the measurements of your screen, and they'll custom make one for you if you need to.

Given that my cut and paste skills are still at the level of pre-school, you can imagine how stupid the navi screen would look.

Whatever you do... avoid the Strong Engineering protectors... they have a sticky substance along the edges that smears all over the screen when removed. Not to mention, they look like crap once installed.

Have you tried their products?

I have also emailed NuShield but they told me they are working on it.

Any suggestions, anyone?

Of course I've tried their products... why else would I warn others against using them?

I bought two screen protectors, threw the first one away right after installing it, and still have a one left over because I refuse to put it on my screen.

strong engineering not so good

I agree with daniel1113. The strong engineering sheets are the right size, but with the adhesive on it, is useless.

I tried removing the adhesive and inserting the sheet into the navi display, but the "fit" is loose and the sheet will slide around. I've learned to live with the scratches on my screen. It can only be seen if the sun shines on the screen at just the right angle anyways.
