My TSX is gone!!

I sold my TSX last week some time, and bought an E36 BMW M3. So, for those of you who own the car, I envy you still. It's the BEST FWD car I've driven.

Gilbo's been really good as of late. His posts aren't nearly as bad as they used to be.

When I first read the title of your post I thought "Oh, no, someone stole a TSX".
Well, if you enjoy your new ride - that's all that matters.

Hehheh, I've driven all of those that you mentioned less ITR. Yes, the TSX's chassis tuning is right up there, I even compare it to the 04 Audi S4 and thought TSX's handling is sharper.

One of the reason I trade is the high monthly payments. With the M3, the payment is MUCH lower. Some new bills will start appearing this coming fall and wanna prepare for it.

I'll post pics once the M3 is ready

Thanks guys.

Tell us (me) more about the E36! I was on the waiting list from January of 94 for a Mugello Red 95. It was a great ride and though its overall limits are lower the handling feel was better than my E46.

As for maintaining it, I did all my own but if you find a good local BMW (non-stealership) shop and they aren't too bad to keep up. Two issues you should consider is replacing the plastic water pump impeller (95-some 97s) and the plastic undertray below the front of the engine with a metal one. There has been either 1 or 2 minor recalls (depending on year) for all but the 99. Check out M3forum.com they have a strong E36 crowd.

One neat thing about the S50/52 engines is they handle boost well. There are some monsters out there.

I wish I still had my E36!

Vandy

Yes, the current platform is the E46. The new 3 series will be the E90.
