Music in the TSX

Just curious... do you have any songs or albums that when played in your TSX take you back to the first hours or days of owning it?

I toss the "Fly or Die" album from N.E.R.D. in the deck, and it takes me back to the day last May when I drove off the lot with the windows down and the roof open.

"....every 'hood we go to, the gangsta's they know my whole crew...." or whatever the actual words are. All I know is the day we got the TSX my kids threw their CD's in and actually got me to like a bunch of Mr. $0.50's tunes so I'm like finding myself humming the songs about my buddy and even started calling my little boy "two bits" since I told him that's half a fifty cent piece.

I'm an old rock head, but love all sorts of music. Jazz is awesome, so on one of my first quiet rides in the TSX by myself, I had a religious experience with Love Supreme and then threw in Electric Church by Jimi H for good measure.

Wow....now that's REALLY gangsta...

I listen to a lot of 50 cent too. I listen to the Shade 45 channel on Sirius quite abit and he's all over that. One of my favorite songs right now is Love It or Hate It.

A couple of the first songs I listened to in the TSX was Runnin' remix with Biggie and 2pac and also Evanescense - My Immortal. I listen to a wide variety of music including R&B and alternative, but rap is definitely my favorite.

My wife's Booty Mix cd. A compilation of her favorite modern hip/hop and R&B. As the sound system in my TSX sounds tons better the the system in her Cherokee she just had to throw it in right away....and keep it in....for far too long.

Don't get me wrong, that music's okay...it's high on my listen to list, right after alternative rock, classic rock, techno, jazz, blues, bluegrass and country. The real reason I'm not a big fan is that I play a lot of that stuff all the time at work.

That's what takes me back.

That N.E.R.D. album is so under-rated. I've listened to that many times in my tsx.

The first CD i listened to my TSX was the Fabulous - Real Talk , but I looked foward to putting in my DMX - Its Dark and Hell is Hot. Now that is classic.

I'm definitely a big fan of the 1st N.E.R.D. album, luvin' Lapdance & Truth or Dare. I probably should get off my ass and get the 2nd album. Betting it'll sound good in the TSX.

Now, even being a DJ, I don't know all the best hip-hop and R&B, but I do like both the lastest Nelly CDs and Snoop Dogg's R&G: The Masterpiece cd is growing on me.

I love the first N.E.R.D. album too. The second one is less raunchy and more of an attempt to get "cerebral". I hated it the first couple of times I listened to it, but then it stuck and has been in the TSX for almost a year.
