Moonroof button illumination

Fellow owners,

I was wondering if someone could check/tell me if their moonroof button lights up at night. I was looking at mine last night to open her up since it was so freakin nice out and noticed it wasnt glowing. And to be honest, I've never really paid attention!

TIA

-Brandon

Instead of getting the bulb yourself, why not just take it in and have the dealer replace it under warranty?

That's actually a really good idea!

I honestly never really thought about it

I guess I just assumed I would pop it out and replace it really quick, oh well, free is better

Sometimes it is hard for me to get out of my DSM mentality. Even though the GSX was super fast, it was also a super pain in the anus to keep maintained, especially when I was the one supplying the "warranty"

Ah yes....DSMs...my friend had a GS-T that decided one day to try to ingest the turbo. Needless to say, it didn't work out well.

But yeah, just take it to the dealer and have them do it. Honestly, the last thing you want is for another problem to pop up later and have dealer tell you that because you tinkered with something that they won't honor the warranty.

Had one of my seat heater switch lights replaced under warranty. Shouldn't be a issue.
