My front map lights just recently failed to function properly on my 2008 acura tsx like so many people who owned this vehicle. I have owned this vehicle for 5 years so bad luck for me that my warranty just ended only 1 year ago. There are so many people who owned this vehicle had this issue, therefore there should be a recall for this issue. Please support me if this has happened to you by contacting acura and request them to make a recall for this. I went to the acura dealer and they told me it would cost over $600 to it and that is just rediculous. I need your support. Thank you.

 

U sure the bulbs just didn't go out?

 

First I've heard of it. I had my 05 for almost 8 years, and we still have the 07 (6 1/2 years). Never had a problem with the map lights.

 

No issue so far with my 07. I assume you replaced the blub? Did you test the contacts for voltage?

 

I had his problem with my '08 but was fixed under warranty.
