When I start my car, the maintenance required light is flashing for about 10 secs, then it goes off. I'm assuming it's one of those internal maintence reminder things (my car has 8k miles on it), does anyone know how to reset it? Or if what this in fact is?? Thanks.

yeah my bad, i totally should have searched. My bad.

 

I just unplugged mine! It was bothering me.

 

It's in the manual i believe.
