maint req'd light

Unhappy maint req'd light
As of yesterday I have been seeing the "Maint Req'd" light flash a few times whenever I start the car. just a couple of flashes, then goes away during driving but returns upon next startup.

Anyone seen this??

You did not mention your mileage. I guess you are close due for oil change. This is just to remind you to do it. If you don't and pass preset mile/km, the light should stay on.

Also that little engine symbol will light up if your gas cap is not closed tightly.

Wow. I'm amazed at how many people don't read their owner's manual.

agreed. I see this same question so damn many times. How the hell can't people read the manual for the cars they buy
