lug pattern question

our lug pattern is 5 x 114.3
not just 14.3.
you would have to be more specific on the Mazda pattern.
and since when did Mazda ever make an MDX?
so do you mean Acura MDX?
or some other Mazda then?

strange.
never heard of a Mazda MDX.
never heard of 5x114.5 either...
so I guess I'm not the guy to help, I'm sure somebody else will
chime in soon and help you out.
edit:
do you have a link or whatever to what you are talking about?
and what is the offset and diameter of the rims? that is equally as important.

oh... you mean the minivan?
you want to put the minivan rims on your tsx?
from all what I can find, there is no 5x114.5, and the MPV is 5x114.3.
have any clue on the width and the offset of the rims?
or a picture of them at least?

^ If those are the rims then I agree, will not look good...anywhere lol. I would save for a diff set if I were you 0.02
And yea if an offset is not 5x114.3 then it won't fit our car but offset is important too so might wanna find that if you are set on getting them.

MPV has a 5x114.3 bolt pattern.
18 x 7.5 is just fine for the TSX, that's what I run on my rims.
so the most important question is what is the offset?
you need something between +42 and +55 to be safe.
the highest offset I can find for those rims is +42.
most I see are either +20 or +40, which you'll run into problems with both
if you are slamming your car.
chances are they are a +40 offset from what I see.
they will fit, but they will stick out a tad, or be flush with the fender.
which will mean no slamming the car, or heavily rolled fenders at the least.
but all of this aside, I agree with the above posters, those rims are not sexy in any way.
and not only that, they must be heavy as all hell, which will dramatically
decrease your cars performance.

its those rims but all black with chrome accents... i'll put one side on and see how it looks first... where can i find out about the offset does it say it on the tire by chance?

correct.
on the tire?
no.
on the rim?
maybe.
it would be on the inside of the rim.
two common places are on the inner lip, like on a sticker or
stamp or something; and the other is on the inside hub
where the lug holes are. in between the spokes it would say
a number.

+42 is a safe offset but with 7.5" wheels you could go to mid 30s without dropping it too much. +42 is a good guideline tho.
I have 8" wide with 42 offset with 1.5" drop without a problem. 7.5" with +35mm offset would be close to the same.

thanx alot to all that gave me the heads up... i agree with those of you that said the all chrome rims probably wouldnt look good, however the black ones look great on the car which is silver... as far as weight goes, the stock wheels with about 5-10% tread left weigh 45.2 lbs and these with new tires weigh 46.0 lbs...i'll post pics up soon, to see what ya'll think...
