Looking for the elusive Carbon Gray Color
I think I'm ready to purchase one of these bad boys but after visiting a few dealerships in CA and calling around, nobody seems to have CB in stock (auto; no navi). Is this color really as hard to find as the dealers make it out to be. I'm ready to order one if need be but I wanted to if there were any other quicker options. Would brokering one be any quicker? As I understand it, ordering one from the dealer will take 6-8 weeks before the car arrives. Can anyone confirm. Thanks!

I see lots of the carbon gray here in Boston area dealerships, along with white, black & silver (the light one) no medium silver (meteor), and no blue, which is what I'm looking for.
Conservative New Englanders I guess

Confirm. I had to wait a few weeks for mine (see sig), and I chose the less popular interior color. If you want ebony interior, you'll wait even longer. Some CG/Ebony owners have waited 3 months All I can say is, get your deposit in early.

South Bay Acura (Torrance, CA) just got in some Charcoal Grey TSX's today. Ask for Bryan Hargrave; tell him Tony referred him.
He'll definitely hook you up with a good deal. Let him know you wnat the car, and go see him quick... before someone else buys it!

Thanks for all the replies so far. I see a couple of good leads especially in Downey and San Diego but the Minnesota one is a bit too far (but nonetheless still appreciated).

Just got lucky
I recently ordered a Carbon Gray from a local dealership and was told it would take roughly 2-3mos to deliver. I walked into a second dealership 2wks later, Pohanka Acura in Chantilly,VA, and got lucky. Someone ordered a CG/Q that got delivered earlier that day and he couldn't get the financing done in time. So, I bought it out from under him for less than I was going to pay at the original dealership I was waiting to hear from. Now I just have to tell the salesperson!

Thanks again for everyone's input. I found one at a dealership about an hour away from me at Downey Acura. Amazingly pleasant and fast experience. Called up the dealership in the morning to see if they had the color and they called me back 20 minutes later and said they would have it in an hour. Negotiated everything over email and they agreed to hold the car for me until I was able to get off work late that evening. I showed up and they held the car as promised, did the paperwork and was done. I'm so happy that I don't have to order the car. I'm in the club.

congrats! Great dealership. Who did you deal with there and did they take your picture before you left? Again, congrats and welcome to the club!

Worked with the internet manager Walther (correct spelling I believe) and then with Auodi and Phil at the dealership. Phil took our picture when we left. Nice little dealership.
Phil even gave us a courtesy call this morning to check on things.
