Looking for 2004 TSX 5AT non-navi in Northeast

Hi, I am shopping for a '04 Non-navi 5at in Arctic Blue, CGP, or Silver. I have only found one car in the area, and they want $25,500 for it. I was hoping that someone knew of a dealer that would sell for less in NJ, NY, CT, MA, NH, VT, or even PA.

My hope is to get one for $25,000 but cars seems to be scarce now, and i don't find many pre-owned cars.

Auto non-navi is the most common combination.. I suggest you get the best deal from your local dealers and tell them to find one for you. I'm sure 25K is very do-able now that '05 is on the way.

Yeah, thanks for trying. That car has been there for a while, and they are all out of new cars.

I saw what I want at Acura of Avon, but they are asking $25,500 plus t,t,l. They also have a $279 conveyance fee which i think is a little steep.

A quick search on various websites in CT shows that there are cars out there, so I guess I have to just search harder.

On a side note: the car at Acura of avon is identical to a used one they have. 2004 Arctic blue 5at non-navi. Car is certified and has 30k miles which seems high. They want $23,000 for the used one, versus $25,500 for the identical new one.

Seems like the new one makes more sense, correct?

I say forget about used non-nav if you have the litle extra $.
But you might want to consider Used+Nav.

Yes you WILL need the nav.

there are TONs of dealers in the states you listed.
if you let know where you're located we may have a better suggestions.

I am in the Hartford area, but frequently travel to Boston. I am willing to travel far for a new one, but no more than 2 hours for a used one.

I am in the process of selling my 2001 Jetta, and aim to buy on Oct 30th to seal the best deal.

for used tsx, i will not buy them. 99.9 percent are loaners from the sve dept. they had been abused by 1000s of drivers. and not much in savings. i need at least 6-8k less than my new tsx's purchase price on the 04 or 05. if money is object, i take a 6 years loan to meet my requirement and pay extra when i can.. during the loan

i got my 2004 tsx navi in august 2003 in california. i paid at delaer invoice.. it took a week to get this kind of deal.. but i got it. ..approx 26,500 plus tax and lic at 4.99 % APR buy rate thru american honda, and 895 for acura care . extetnded warranty 5 yrs 100k zero deducible and 500 for the GAP. no down.
the difference of interest rate between 5 and 6 years loan was only a quarter percent.. big deal.. if i sign a six year loan and pay the five year loan pymt plan at the six year rate only costed me 300 more than the regular five year rate. but i have the 80+ dollar cushion when i m tight.
i hope u got the point.

Your car is out there

I saw a bunch of ATs (not sure about the navi status) at Springfield Acura in NJ. I paid exactly $25K for MT & no-navi, so you're certainly not out of range. To get the best deal, the car MUST be on the lot. They won't give you a great price if they have to look for the car.

On the navi thing... stick to your guns - - if you don't want it, don't pay for it. The navi vs non navi thing is out of control on this forum. You don't NEED it. (sorry Blackjack) It's a great option, but it ain't cheap, and there's an annual expense associated with keeping the data up to date.

ok these i know are quite willing to deal:

manhattan acura (NYC)
paragon acura (Queens)
curry acura (Westchester)

BUT I really suggest a local/close dealer if at all possible, even for $500. IF they offer the following: lifetime free oil change, free loaner cars.
I made the mistake of getting one from dealer a hour away to save like $600.

Been to Avon just to browse, looks like a good shop.

They also have a $279 conveyance fee which i think is a little steep.
that sounds fair.

As for Nav - just read a little the discussions on this forum, you be the judge.
I liken it to the elevator - you don't need no stinking elevators, can climb the stairs.....

I think most dealers have free loaners...but the lifetime oil changes would be interesting. they would probably only do it once every 7500 miles so it turns out to be a $60 per year savings if driving average miles and each oil change is $30.

I don't need NAV and i don't want to spend that much money. I would probably buy aftermarket rims for $2k instead.

Anyone know of area dealers in CT that offer free oil changes for life?

That's one thing thats totally bizzare to me. Skip the nav but then spend it on cosmetic mods instead. But it's your money your car so best of lucks.

Devon Acura (Norwalk) offers free oil job - BUT you'd pay for it. their pricing is the MOST inflexible among the 8 dealers I researched.
Bedford Hills Acura (Westchester) also.
