Lip spoiler doesn't look fit!
Lip spoiler doesn't look fit!
I just recieved a M3 lip spoiler from ebay and it is made of Polyurethane. It doesn't seems fit the tsx and it doesn't curve along the trunk. Am I need to heat it up to fit it or it is flex enough to bend it to fit and hold strong with the 3M tape?
Hey Man:
Simply flex it and the 3M tape will hold it in place. Just make sure that you mark the exact location where you will put it with masking tape and start at one side. Take your time and it will work. Good luck. I wanna see pics!

I recommand getting the tape from bmw. they have it for 6-13 dollars, depending where you go, i know its expensive, but its the thinnest.
There is another spoiler, its just like the m3 but its more aggressive, from what i know. its made to fit A4/S4, so it should be made to fit tsx better too. since the orginal m3 spoiler needed to bended and forced on to fit on A4s.

mine is about 1cm shy of the trunk edge on each side... doesn't look bad IMO. OTOH, icey had to shave a little bit off each side of his to make it fit...
It flexes easily to fit the curve - don't worry about that. BUT, I'd cut a little off of the double-sided tape - it's noticeable if you look hard on my car since it's the entire width of the spoiler
