So my g/f's house keeper moved her car a week ago and scraped the side of the house. The housing on her 06 TSX headlight is cracked. I was searching for a replacement headlight for her on ebay and a lot of people advertise them as 04-06 headlights. I know for sure that in 06 the projector was changed to a "fresnel" lense, but what about the housing itself?

What are the changes or was there any changed at all made to the housing between 04-05 and 06+ visually wise or was it the same, and acura just changed the projector? Thanks!

 

i think visually it looks a little different too, not 100% sure, but i'm pretty positive

 

The area around the orange reflector is different. Tough to describe, but it is different.

The reflector is different, but also the ballast is different for 04-05 and 06-08. You can buy a 04-05 headlight, and it'll fit, but the ballasts will not match up to the holes.

Thanks guys. My GF was sick in bed, and the house keeper asked if she could move the car since it was blocking the gate (she needed to move the trash can out since it was pickup day).

Anyways, looks like I'll be needing to source an 06+ headlamp.
