Just picked up my PWP/Ebony/6spd!!!
I live in NJ, but wanted a PWP/Ebony/6spd/non-navi..found one in Virginia (~240 miles away), took a train there yesterday and drove the sucker back. I'm moving up from a '99 Civic and a '03 Civic, holy crap this car is awesome! It was a little more than I wanted to spend (I'm one of those "be smart with your money so you can retire filthy rich" guys), but I figured it was only a few thousand more than an Accord EX so what the hell. I was also thinking of going used, but felt it wasn't worth it in the long run since I'm keeping this till the wheels fall off.
Only thing I'm iffy on is whether or not getting a 6spd was the right move for me..it feels awkward compared to my '99 Civic. I'm shifting a lot more (I wished 6th was taller), and the clutch is a LOT lighter than the stock one in the Civic.
All in all no regrets, I'm very happy with my purchase. I left my camera in Texas when I visited my parents, so all I have is crappy camera phone pics.. I'll try to borrow one and get some pics for you guys.

Congrats. You won't regret the 6MT. I just bought a 2008 CGP 6MT non-Navi a few months ago. Love the 6MT! Without it, the Auto doesn't being the engine alive (as much). It may feel light, but that tranny is legendary - probably the best manual in the business. It took me a few weeks to get used to it (still not quite there with the 1-2 shift), so don't give up on it.
Great car. Congrats! You'll love it. And nice color choice too. I kind of wish I had gone for PWP...

CONGRATS on the purchase - great choice! I moved up to a new PWP/ebony/6MT (mine with navi) from a '98 Civic (MT) last year, despite the fact it was a bit more than I wanted to spend (I was also looking at the Accord EXL but splurged for the same reasons as you).
I also noticed a difference with the tsx MT but it didn't take me long to get used to the ratio, clutch, placement of the shifter... and I loved the 6th gear right away! I tend to shift at a lower rpm with the tsx (guess I used to rev pretty high on the civic) but I got used to it. Still way more fun than AT IMHO (I had an AT loaner for almost a week after I took delivery so the stealership could replace the scratched windshield)... It would be cool if 6th was taller... and the car even faster, but considering I don't drive in the racetrack everyday, I suppose I'll just deal!
Can't wait to see pics - and what mods, if any, r u thinking? Clearbra is a good idea - I don't have one but I wish I'd gotten one. Search around on this forum - I believe there are a few threads, may even have leads for places in NJ.

I have a clearbra on mine. Search the net for locations in your area. In addition to putting it on the front, you should have them stick it under the door handles too. I had a Jetta before and noticed a lot of scratches from fingernails and rings underneath the door handles. 6MT is a lot of fun. I wish I had a NAVI with it. That's ok because I have a NUVI 260W to get me around. It works just as well.

You are one of those "be smart with your money so you can retire filthy rich" guys? Then you made the right choice in cars. Color and transmission choice too.

Thanks guys! I'm in Old Bridge... Honestly I don't think I'll be modding this one, my only plans are:
-getting the clear bra
-changing the foglight bulbs to yellow ones (not sure which brand is recommended?)
-possibly getting the Dice unit (though supposedly my 3rd gen ipod won't work?).
