Just buy an Accesory called a "itrip" its all wireless and sends the music from your Ipod to a Fm station through your stereo system and sounds excellent

I heard from some people that the sound quality is distant, not that good, do you have one of these, if so what is your opinion, maybe i will try that first, it will just suck to get the ipod, and then have crappy quality music, ya know.
If anyone has used the itrip, how is it...

thanks in advance.

dont buy an itrip if you are planning on doing a lot of listening in your car. I think that itrip is a convient alternative, but no where near a replacement for a hardwire. If anything get an inline fm modulator.

hey there... i did this to my car with navi... i used the snhond3 and bought the audio harness from honda. splicing them together and soldering the wires was not as bad as you would think! connecting them to the back of the nav unit was even easier! id do it for you but im out on long island...

you dont have to take the dash apart!! you simply pull on the accessories bin and it pops out... i was amazed how simple it was. im sure they would do it right and if they dont they have the glue to put everything back together where you would never know they messed up

Exactly...Just pull the storage bin out (use both hands, get a good grip of the inside of the bin, and pull out with steady pressure) The hardest part is splicing the wire and the accord harness, but other than that it's just plug-and-play. Even if you screw up, everything plugs back in, there is nothing to cut inside the TSX

Here is another possible solution. Kind off expensive, but it also supplies power unlike the iTrip.

TransPod

I have an iTrip. It really sucks when your in a big city and there's no free stations as well a pain in the butt to set up everytime you get in and out of the car.

Don't get the iTrip, waste of money. You paid all that money for the iPod you should at least be able to listen to it without 5 db of noise in the background.

Only way my iTrip would work well was if I held it or rested it on my lap. This is fine when you're driving an AT, but with MT.... bad idea.

Apple annouced a new ipod with a screen size that I can read. I'm not sure if it uses flash memory of a disc drive but I suspect the disc drive. The screen size almost makes it worth it to keep and show pictures.

http://www.apple.com/ipod/ipod.html

or in Canada http://www.apple.com/ca/ipod/ipod.html

Should work nicely with the Acura Music Link.

Anyone tried Blitzsafe HON/AUX DMX V.2?

Enfig.com sells a Blitzsafe unit that hooks directly into the iPod and charges it as well. See it at http://enfigpics.com/shopsite_sc/st...NK1_V2_NAV.html.

Has anyone use this?

Will it provide the best sound becuase you have less connections?

Can it be weaved through the car into the arm rest as a clean install?

Am I better off using the Blitzsafe unit that provides RCA jacks instead?

Can this guy's solution keep XM and Navi working in my '05 TSX? Does he supply the parts, or will I need to bring them? If he doesn't have them what parts should I bring? I'm willing to take a 2 hour road trip from CT if he can do this and make it look nice (want it wired inside armrest if possible). Please help!!

But then you still need a way to connect the iPod to the Soundgate unit as well as charge the iPod. They sell a product to attach to the Soundgate from Blitzsafe:

http://shop.store.yahoo.com/logjam/blitzuii.html

But, Blitzsafe makes a unit that basically combines these 2 for $70 vs. buying the 2 units above for a combined $160 (plus another $40 if you have Nav for the Y-harness adapter).
