Improves gas mileage?

I was looking through e-bay, and my cousin told be he just bought a part to increase his gas mileage. So i was seeing if it was available for the tsx and it was. Im not sure if it really works as it says, and if anything goes wrong with it and it messes up the car, will factory warrenty will still cover it? Heres the part, have any of you had installed this?
Heres the site .. Better gas mileage

My dad fell for that crap on TV and put one in my old Jetta. It did nothing but make it worse IMO.

A cold air intake *might* improve mileage simply since it's aspirating the engine better but ... that thing is just silly.

SO TRUE!!! the air swirl becomes so efficient that you don't need to add gas to it anymore to get a good burn.

Now actually... it wont do anything for our fuel injected engines. but as far as the carburator engines go... i think it actually might help it a little bit since the swirling of the air might help the air get into the engine better. But uh yea... for like any car that's got somewhat decent technology... it will do nothing. Possibly even restrict airflow through the air intake.

I've got five in mine, too. Well, one for the intake, one each for my wheels. I'm all set to defend myself in a post-apocalyptic world where gas is more valuable than gold. Mad Max, here I come!

If this was true..it would not be sold for $35.

Some of the seller's feedback is funny.

I think I saw a show on tv a few years ago where they put one of those things to test (some similar product that's supposed to increase your airflow, it was a much more well presented one that sold for much more $$). The conclusion of the test was, not only does it not increase preformance or gas mileage, it actually DECREASE the performance because the 'swirling' action distrubs the air flow and introduce turbulence into the intake, which in effect decrease the performance...

In short, save your money like what everyone else said.

This is a classic scam. A few cents for a bent piece of cheap tin, sell it for 18 bucks (oh it didn't fit??? duh). If manufacturers could put a 10 cent piece of metal in the intake and increase fuel efficiency don't you think they would do it? In fact it is better to have smooth air flow at this point, not turbulent air flow.

No, what you really need are Magnetic Frequency Resonators to inonize your fuel. If you get the car up to 80 mph you will go back in time... no kidding!
