You should specify if they installed moleskin or not for those who have scratches...so the selections would be:
04 TSX with Tint Scratches
04 TSX without Tint Scratches w/o moleskin
04 TSX without Tint Scratches w/ moleskin
05 TSX with Tint Scratches
05 TSX without Tint Scratches w/o moleskin
05 TSX without Tint Scratches w/ moleskin

My front two windows have a long line from the top to the bottom. Pretty disgusting to look at. Considering I paid $280 for that tint...I expected better!

Also remember to put what brand of Tint that you have. That will give us an idea of what brands dont scratch since some members dont have scratched tints.

are u saying some brands of tint won't scratch? I don't believe this to be the case. If so everyone would just get the tint brand that doesn't scratch, and not deal with the felt/moleskin installation garbage.

Anyone on the board with 3M tint, and scratches?

Certain companies claim to have "scratch proof" tint. I will gaurantee that I can scratch any film on the market though. I still say Moleskin Schmoleskin. There is another problem that should be fixed insted of adding moleskin.

i agree, after calling a reputable shop in tampa, he said "have the dealer fix your problem, and we'll put professional tint on your car" installing moleskin should not be required for mearly a film on ur windows. it's a little ridiculous.

Well.. you see that's just the problem. We dont know which brand will and wont scratch. Most people here that dont have any scratches just say it doesn't scratch. They dont make a reference to brand or anything. So it's sort of hard to come to a conclusion.
