I Just Bought a New 05 MT TSX

I lost my mind and bought what must be the last 05 MT TSX in Canada. Silver with black interior.

I am not wild about the color (prefer grabon grey or dark blue), but i saved $5.5K from a new 06 TSX and i thought it was worth the diffrence (Canadain dollars).

I pick up the car in 2 hours. It has 92 kilometers on the clock.

I did note that the engine seems a little rough when i test drove it. Do they have more vibration when they are new?

Expect some more post and questions now that i have joined the cult.

Bobby.

Beat on for only 92 km (56 miles)? Couldn't have been that bad

Yea, that's what i'm thinking.
At least if they beat on it the RPM's would've been caried like the factory suggests.

Anyways... nice find and enjoy your new car.

you cant compare the .us tsx prices to the .ca tsx prices. They are way off.
we (Canada) pay a lot more for the lovely TSX.

Anyways, congrats on the car. i am thinking of an 05 too to save me some cash. but i am a sucker for the 06 changes.

Dude, I bet you earned it, suffering many years. If I was dealer, would be so happy to get you into this. Honda, so will be around long time, and you can pass it on to the next in nice condition.

Keep the new car smell. Never let a passenger violate it with a fart; stop the car, make em get out, and clear the air. Give them the instuctions from Tansporter 2.

Otherwise, never open the windows till the new car smell is gone. Never open the sunroof, cause you'll get squeek rattle. On a sunny warm day after being parked a while, you still get the new car smell for a long time.

Head on over to the wash and wax forum. Never let dealer or tunnel car wash touch your car. Keep it nice, and ppl stay away from it. Passengers won't even fart, let alone scratch ur leather.

Yeah, never actually get in the car and cover it with a car cover in your garage so that it will still be showroom fresh 20 years from now.

Sorry.

You don't know what it is like to struggle with decades of used junk, of unknown origin. Little while after you get it, starts smellin funky. You realize in horror that people eat and drink in their cars, carry around dogs, and stuff. You shampoo the thing, you use the fragrance dispenser at the car wash, still it persists.

You finally get a new car, exhileration!

Just got my '05 too!

I just picked up my new 6sp '05 on Saturday for $25999 (mfg date was 9/05). I'm loving the car! I've been driving SUVs and trucks for 10 years (my last car was a 1996 GS-R) and forgot how nice a car drove!
