i drove it
i went and i test drove the tsx on monday and i gotta say it was def. a sweet ride. but i did notice some stuff. like the car felt kinda heavy when rounding corners and accelerating. to me it didnt seem like that little vtec had the balls i've been reading about. i mean dont get me wrong everything was smooth, i didnt even feel the tranny shifting (it does come with a tranny right?) just kidding. i dont know i gotta drive it again, and get a little more rough with it. the interior was sharp it had the silver sport trim. the nav system was awesome, it knew every turn. when i approched the turn just before the one i needed and was passing it, it would say take the next turn. but most of you probably already know that, but i just thought it was cool. im still debating weather i really want it or not just gunna drive it again and again till i come to a conclusion.

We drove quite a few cars before we purchased the TSX. (RX8, Mazda 6, Toyota Solara V6, Camry SE, Lincoln LS, Volvo S40) All of them have some issues but we prefered the Milano Red TSX above all of them. We wanted a car that was extremely reliable, handled well, was well equiped and had enough power for almost anything. Besides it gets pretty good gas mileage and is really fun to drive.

Quality interior, great wood touch on the knob and steering wheel. Too heavy for the standard V6, kinda like the TSX w\ the 4.

i've considered the mazda 6 but i have a 626 now and i'm trying to get rid of it because of all the transmission problems i've heard about and now i'm noticing slipping and leaks. i've also considered looking at audi's. but the tsx is what i really want the styling is all there, just awesome. i'm not totally turned off by it just set back a little. i asked the salesmen about the 05 model but he kinda beat around the bush about it, cause he wanted to sell the 04 right then. has anyone heard anything about the 05?

haha i know i was tired as hell yesterday. i'm not sure y i couldnt think of it. i'm not really interested in a stick. i drive alot of long distances and i get sick of changing gears all the time. but even so it might help in pickup but it still feels heavy in the turns.

there is no hard kick to i-vtec like normal vtec. It switches over at 6k it's there is no hard kick to i-vtec like normal vtec. It switches over at 6k it's subtle but you can pick up on it. If you're worried about power you shouldn't be looking at an auto. Auto is more for relaxing drives then being fast and powerful.

as far as stability, i'm comparing it to my 626 its a bigger car and has a 2.0 liter as compared to a 2.4. and instead of a sporty sedan its more of a mom and pops car. it handles better in the turns has more than 127,000 miles on it and has more get up and go than the tsx with out missing a beat. now dont get me wrong i'm not beatin on the tsx, its just didnt show me what i was expecting. but maybe i should try the 6mt, but the handling will still be the same.

if you don't like the TSX, try the RSX-S, new TL, Maxima, or Infiniti G35 coupe/sedan. if you need straight off the line power, the TSX isn't for you. btw my folks had a mazda before, the service was terrible there, plus their MPV had tranny problems too. i'm staying away from mazda since they're owned by crappy ford now anyways.

Seriously, there's something wrong there....
