How to remove water spots? Anyone know?

So I went out of town and i came back and my whole passenger side has hard water stains from the sprinklers. I have washed the car 3 times and they still won't come out... Any tips for removing them?

I heard vinegar works well but will that hurt the paint? Thanks for any input.

Vinegar diluted 1:1 with water is ok. I'd rather use Meg's #80 speed glaze with a PC or random orbital.

For any hard water spots on your glass try A-MAZ Clean & Clear water stain remover. Just apply with a damp cloth or use a buffer. This stuff will eat any hard water stains on chrome and glass (work great in showers also).

DON'T USE THIS STUFF ON YOUR PAINT, CHROME/GLASS ONLY!!!!

a clay bar will take it out, maybe not the fastest way though. btw, this should be moved to wash & wax, you'd get some better answers there
