I found a 04 tsx auto navi used at a dealership with 23k miles on it. They have the car marked 26995 which I think is insane. Do you think 24500 would be a good offer? The reason I am going the used route is I dont want to wait 6 weeks for a new tsx and dont really want a 500$ payment.

 

Lets see -$1000 for depreciation; -$2300 for mileage, so 24500 should be a fair figure for both parties.

 

dealer is nuts. $5 more and you can a totally new car (ny tristate area quotes)!!

 

Well, the dealer's mark it that high because it's always "negotiated". Anyways, I think I would pay 24.5k for your car, it's a reasonable deal.

 

I think you can get lower. I'd say $23500 is a good deal. Remember there's more room to negotiate for used cars.

I just helped my gf buy a new TSX navi for $27000. Had another car on order with $500 deposit for $26500, but had trouble with dealer (Joe Krupp at Curry Acura) postponing assured delivery dates, not calling us back 80% of the time, and not faxing us the deposit receipt after 2 weeks. Sorry for the ramble - a little pissed at him.

I am flying to St Pete Florida. I have looked for a tsx long enough with Navi to fly to Florida. My last 3 cars were all purchased out of state.
