I assume you are talking about the addition of foglights to a car you already have? I paid $450 to have mine added, but that was before I took delivery.

Protect those foglights once you get them:

Can you turn the foglights on without the headlights being on? If not, what's the point of them? Even if you can, unless you live somewhere that's frequently foggy then they seem like nothing more than a waste of money.

Nope..can't do that.
What's the point? What's the point of a spoiler or body kit?
I had mine installed b/c I just do not like the look of any car with that goofy black plastic where the foglights should be. YMMV

You should have cut-out the "goofy" black plastic and made some ductwork for the brakes (and/or a CAI) -- at least that would have been functional.

Just to clarify my original statment, adding fog lights to car with HIDs seems pointless -- but that's just one man's opinion!

I live out in Diamond Bar. The dealer I'm talking about is Thomas Acura in West Covina.

i was wondering, are the fog lights brighter than the HID lights? and are our headlights the same as the TLs'?
if our HID lights are brighter than the fogs, then fogs are 100% for looks (and maintenance)?

I will say that the fogs do help with lighting the areas immediately off to the flanks of the car. But I would not say that they are brighter than the HID's.
