I was wondering who here sat down and actually read their owners manual? I did the night I bought my tsx. :P

 

I pretty much read the whole thing too the nite after I pick up my car! Your not alone!:P

I still don't understand the people that spend this much on a car and never read the damn thing. Then post about how their service light is scaring them

 

i did.. the night after i got my car.

 

Took me a week (read only a couple sections per day) but lotsa good info.

PS: Anyone notice how many times the owners manual mentions the word "seat belt" in the first 50 pages? For good reasons though.

 

not only did i read the manual, just got the service manual today. it might be 1000+ pgs but at least now i know where that stupid oil filter located.

not enough had read their owners manual

 

I read it from cover to cover in the first 3 days of owning my new TSX. I can't figure out why my friends were all like "You read your manual? Phhhp! I never read any of mine!".

Geeze I just spent a heap of dough on this and I want to know EVERYTHING it does!!!

 

Read every page the day after I brought her home.

 

Drove it 20 something miles to get home, then spent the next 4 hours reading every little page.

 

$69 +shipping.. huh... not cheap.. but there is a reason- for service..

 

Not enough of us.

 

On and off for the first 36 hours, although I confess I didn't read the child safety section, which is about 1/4 of the book.

Is 63$ really the best we can do on the service manual?

does the manual tell you what kind of bulbs the high beams are? i remember someone asking about them, and i told him to read the manual. all he did was get mad.
