i want to sit in my car with the door open and the radio on without hearing the chime...how do i do this?

 

Turn your stereo up louder?

 

Turn key from ACC to ON.

close the door

 

^and open windows

 

sit on the passenger side or the back seats..if you have to have the door open...and of course close the drivers door

 

Find chime speaker. Apply repeated blows to said chime speaker with tack hammer. Repeat.

 

also applies to certain people *cough*gf*cough* that sit in the passenger seat.

I used to jam my foot in the door wedge where the door sensor was.

Sorry this is kind of off topic.

 

How about using the Air Conditioning... Close the windows (and moon roof) and set climate control to 65 degrees... you will now have your music, cool air, and other people do not have to listen to your favorite music (being considerate to others is important these days)
