How to control HVAC without Navi Screen or Voice
Does anyone know if there is a way to increase fan speed and change fan modes without using voice control or navi. Sometimes I don't bother pressing the ok button on the navi and it shuts the screen. But to voice activate the fan speed you have to press the ok button or it won't work. Is there a button on the center console that increase fan speed and changes modes or can you only change it on the screen and voice? Some quick way to do it?

You also don't have to press the OK button to have access to the HVAC controls. Just hit the A/C button on the dash, and it will bring up the HVAC screen - even if you have not hit OK.

Don't lower the temp if its cold out, it will decrease the fan speen.

Speaking of which, does anyone know how to select the "OK" button without using the touch screen? I tried using the nav joystick like with the other buttons, but it didn't work for me.

Man some of you people are getting lazy...
You guys want everything to work automatically. Maybe you should wait for the car that drives itself too.
I'm just hassling you Navi guys...

Sadly, all the automatic systems make it difficult to get do that.

Usually, I just set the vents to direct air at my face, allow fresh air in, and then everything is good. If I want more airflow, I vent the sunroof. Do you need to use the navi touchscreen to change the HVAC mode?

It's a lame design flaw. The TSX is missing fan up/down and 6 preset buttons. That's 8 buttons in all it's missing. I don't have my TSX yet (hopefully tomorrow), but I am hoping that I can cope w/o these dedicated buttons.
These 8 additional buttons were 8 more reasons that I seriously considered the TL over the TSX, believe it or not...

When the nav screen shuts off on its own, all I have to do to activate the menu for the fan is to hit the A/C button. It does directly to the A/C screen and bypasses the disclaimer/OK button screen. I can also go directly to audio as well. The only time the disclaimer screen comes back on is if I choose nav.

I think Honda/Acura made the right decision in having the disclaimer screen and giving us full access to nav functions while driving.

Otherwise, our last car (a Toyota Matrix XRS) had a Nag screen (push "Accept") and made you pull over. That really sucked!!!! Passenger could not even change anything, they would rather you pull off the freeway, change a setting, then get back on the Freeway. That is safer??? No
