Easy fix
Masking tape, plastic sheet and a couple cans of flat black (or do you prefer shiney or matte black) paint, and you are in business!!
You could actually Zebra stripe it.... Take the plunge!! Post many photos....
Then paint match your engine bay and engine block black ; then remove your wipers and do not forget to remove the wiper reservoir.....
Then beat on your noisy starter a few times, and you are good to go!!!
Amazes me the nit-picking over a friggin car, sheesh, get a life......

Car makers almost certainly go with the lighter headliner in order not to make the car interior too dark for some buyers.
I noticed this on the Lexus ES 330, too, and I think the new ES 350.
Gray is okay, but I've had plenty of matching black headliners before, and prefer them.

The Lighter headliner creates the visual illusion of "light" comming in from above, which combined with the sunroof are ment to help the TSX feel more open inside even with the black interior... Black headliners to some may be constricting, thats why.... personally I really dont even mind it... didnt notice it for a while either lol.... Just glad I get the neat fake Aluminum instead of the fake wood...

To quote Cal Naughton Jr. from Talladega Nights
"Because the TSX likes to party"
Two reasons:
One has been mentioned: Creates a sense of space inside the car
Two: Cheaper to make it all one color in every car (unless it's different in the Parchment interior cars) never paid any attention to it in the showroom cars I sat in
