houston

so i feel like an ass....after reading all of the deals here, the absolute best i could get out of any dealer in houston was 27,600 (cg 5at wo navi + tint)....i see everyone esle getting 27 flat, but no one in texas would budge for me...it was hard enough getting below 27,800. anyone else have this issue?

Houston...we have a noob...
I don't care how tough it is...you didn't try hard enough....
Wave $27,600 in their faces and says this
"$27,600 - WITH NAVIGATION and all-weather mats - you have 5 minutes to think about it..."

I got mine in ft worth (cg 5at + tint + splashguards + wheel locks + nice pinstripe down the side) for under 26,000. And I didn't even have to work that hard to get them to come down.

i dont really see why its meaningless, since that is the amount i am paying, right? i think all the taxes and other junk are around 1900 here in tx, so that amounts to about 25,7? anyone else getting anythign better this time of year in houston? on the flip side, i could have had another color at 27,4

That's about right. Close to 25.5 before TT&L. Not a bad deal if ya ask me. I hit dealers up in H-Town, Dallas, ATX, and San Antonio before buying mine in Jan. Best I got was 26K prior to TT&L.

I got mine for 28,150 w/navi 6mt...I'd say you, sir, got a shitty price. There are worse things in life, though...just enjoy the new ride.

I paid $27,025 out of the door in Houston a year ago for a PWP, no navi, AT. No extras. It was $25,200 + Tax, title, license + $50 Doc. fee. Contact Jeremy at Charlie Thomas (Champion) Acura. It was really a no hassle experience.

Correct, no nav (I forgot to say that in my first post).

I'd love to post some pics but for some reason it says I may not post attachments. If anybody knows why I have that restriction and what I can do about it I'd love to hear why.

Well if it makes you feel any better, none of us can attach pictures. You have to host them somewhere and link to it via the [img] tag.

I would check out Gunn Acura in San Antonio. We drove there to buy (from Houston). They have a "no haggle" price they will give over the phone. CG/Quartz, NAV, 6speed for $27,500. We were happy!

There is a problem in Texas. Whats wrong with that state? Not to be disrespecting the state, but I am from the mortgage field, and there is a lot of issues out there. Is it because of the water?

I paid 1.00 over "invoice" plus 545.00 for destination on my AT non-navi. Then of course they tried to add all kinds of shit to the price. I stood tough and told them no, no, no,. Then of course the car had wheel locks, splash guards, and a trunk tray. I told them I didnt want them and I wasnt paying for them. Take them off I dont care. I really wanted them of course but didnt want to pay for them. They ended up leaving the wheel locks and splash guards. They would have left the trunk tray but when the salesman was prepping the car he found it when he went to the truck to get the floor mats. He was driving a TSX as well so Im sure it went right in his trunk. But by standing my ground I got what I feel is a good deal

Bottom line

24,692.00 + 545.00 = 25,237

PM me if you want the name of the dealership. I know they are quoting this price.

Congrats on your TSX. The price you got is decent. It's $37 more than what I paid a year ago althougth I got no free accessories. I would assume your OTD price to be about $27,000 to $27,100. Mine was $27025.

BUT, according to Edmunds and KBB, the $24,692 does include the destination charge. The invoice price is $24,157 before destination. That means you actually paid $546 above invoice. Still a very good price IMO but it's not $1 above invoice.

I wondered if they were trying to "double-dip" on the destination charge. Too late now.
