You're absolutey right.... WHY?!?!?!?!?!

That was one crazy burnout at the end. I think he had the front wheels in reverse and the rears in forward. You can't do that on a most cars!

I think the owner has seen one to many episodes of monster garage.

Dude...that's pretty

I saw a video of someone who had done a similar thing to an Audi TT. It ran two modified 1.8T motors. The real trick with this is getting the two drivetrains to sync up.

Although it's sorta whack, if this guy wants to do it, why not? If he's got that much money to throw away, sure.

From a pure testosterone standpoint I think it's awesome. Who wouldn't want to do something like that? But then reality kicks in and you realize the financial implications and how completely impractical it is. Everyone has their hobbies and I assume that's what is going on here.

how did he do that last burnout, front in reverse and rear in drive? does that mean he has 2 separate gas pedals, one for each axles front/rear...?

It's a nice experiement but there are cheaper and easier ways to get a car in the 11s range. And most of them are probably better looking too.

...Alright.

It was a clip from sport compact cars street car of the year competition. (this isn't the one with the Hyundai,it will also explain the guy riding dressed like an old woman :P )http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/fe...403scc_uscc00/

They make videos each time to buy so those were probably the other people competing.

In the late 80's or early 90's Car and Driver installed two engines into a CRX. Nowhere near 600HP though. I seem to recall that their conclusion was that it wasn't such a great thing, the extra hp was fun but a heavy CRX was not.
