the stress is much higher in big city here in the United States. There is no such thing as a 6 months vacation here like you guys in Europe. People work all day and drive all day to work here (lower and middle class of course). After 6pm, everywhere is close. No entertainment but to sit home and watch TV.

Kind off a bold statement to make... You really think that only in the US there is pressure from work ? Don't know what cities you've been to in europe, but think again... I regularly make 60 hour weeks here and believe me I am not the only one... Don't think the short fuse of some idiots has any relation to the average stress factor from work being higher in US compared to europe... Maybe more so to the amount of uneducated people ? (had to throw that one back @ ya  )
And about the 6 month vacation ? I'll take that job ! Where can I apply ?

Shouldn't the autolevveling take care of the 'flashing' when going over bumps btw ?

i'm not sure if i've ever gotten flashed because of my HID's but i know that there have been a couple of times driving up north on I-5 out in cali where crazy drivers would continually flash me from behind (after which i generally change lanes, slow down, and hope for them to pass) and slow down and change with me and continually flash me... and i didn't even do anything to them! annoying to say the least... what's up with that?!

My friends from France come here for vacation every year for months. I was so surprise. They told me that they didn't make much but average people did have long vacation (talking about months and months) and once they had the job, the company couldn't fire them. (is that physically possible???!!!)

umm... companies firing someone isn't a physically possible thing... because its more of a status (maybe?), as in you are either employed or unemployed? unless firing someone involves some sort of physical torture, in which case, i guess a company can possibly phyiscally fire somone.

A few months of holiday a year... I'm wondering what kind of profession your friends have... I work for a large bank in the Netherlands and thus have one of the best terms of employment one can have over here. Believe me when I say I don't have months of holiday. It is however true that it is more difficult here to fire staff, but when really needed they always find a way. This is different per european country btw. In the UK e.g. it is much easier to fire people.

But back to the topic, does the TSX have autolevveling on the HID's as the EuroAccord ? Pretty sure it has... This would also anwser the question earlier in this thread to where the hight can be adjusted. It's adjusted automatically by the autolevveling sensors (which I was told are located somewhere below the trunk area in the back of the car... I'm not 100%..).

I don't think the TSX has auto-levelers for some reason.

This is the first thread that really makes me miss my Mini...

It had the HID's, but I also installed a four light rally bar. I hooked the lights to my high beams and could clearly see over a 1/2 mile on a straight road. I got flashed a few times...I waited to see if they'd flash me again before I showed them what high beams really are...only had to do it a couple of times...

It's only happened once, on the way back home from the dealership after picking up my car. I didn't flash the high beams because I didn't know how to turn on the high beams.

Other than that it hasn't been an issue at all, all I get is "Wow your headlights are bright!" from passengers.

My headlights used to be a problem but after crashing it the lights are litreally cockeyed.

My headlights are aimed down now haha... I pulled up on a high driveway and the finally looked like they were stock level.

My distance before was like xx feet now its like 3 feet

lucky for me one is being replaced and both reaimed after they fix my front end.

Got tired of the stock Yellowish-white hid bulbs, which are probably rated at 3800K-4000K,,, Bought a pair of Purplish/White hid's rated at 6000K,and they stay that color,,,Boy, they light up the night !!! Only a couple of passer-byers have flashed,,,I think people in general are gettin more use to seeing HID's at night, they have no choice,Right !!! They've helped me with better night vision, plain & simple they were worth the $$$$,,,

I think the only time people have flashed me was like a week into getting my car. Other than that no ones really flashed me nowadays.

Well, I finally got flashed last night. I was at the top of a slope (the road goes underneath a railroad...I had just gone under and was waiting to make a left turn). The person then flashed his lights as he entered the intersection (remember, I was on an incline). I guess I'm expected to turn my lights off while waiting to turn on an incline *shrugs*

I've noticed that alot of vehicles on the road have their lights aimed upward (my brother won't lower his mustang's lights...he likes it like that). I especially hate tall vehicles that insist on using HID's. Come on...their headlights are already at my sideview mirror's height or higher, and now I have HID lights hitting me right smack in the eyes. I think last night I was blinded 3 times in a span of 1.5 blocks by a landrover I believe. Tonight it was a sienna van...*sigh*

I got that a while back too. I was going up a little slope and the car on the other side coming up highlighted me. I guess they do expect us to turn off our lights just to accomodate them.......

Standard bulbs are 4300K as all stock HID's are as this generates the most usable light (about 3200 lumens). Then, the higher the color temp the lower the usable light becomes (less lumens). They may look nicer, but produce less usable light... 6000K produce about 2500 lumens compared to the 3200 lumens of you stock HID bulbs, which is quite a loss... I've had 6000K bulbs in my previous euroAccord also, but left the stock 4300K's in my new EuroAccord and can really tell the difference, specially on dark country roads...

Sounds like they're flashing you thinking that your high beams are on.

maybe you had defectiv stock bulbs, because there is no way they could be brighter. they just dye the bulbs blue or purple to change the colour temp. This reduces the light output.

Do TL's have DRL's? If not then I hate the bastards that are keeping their high beams on with their headlights... that's blinding.
